Special Education Para Professional in Archbald, PA

Make an impact supporting students as a dedicated paraprofessional in an onsite, full-time classroom aide role. This contract position is conveniently located near Archbald, PA, and offers the opportunity to work closely with an early intervention caseload. The assignment runs Monday through Friday, 8:15AM-3:15PM, beginning as soon as possible and extending to August 6, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Background working as a school-based paraprofessional or hands-on professional experience with children
• Willingness and ability to assist students with feeding, repositioning, changing, toileting, and diapering as needed
• Comfortable supporting students within the special education population
• Excellent reliability; must have dependable transportation
• Ability to obtain and complete all necessary PA clearances prior to the start date
• No work restrictions—must be able to meet all physical and situational requirements of the role
• Willing to participate in a Zoom interview for consideration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers by assisting with instructional activities and individualized student support
• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living skills, including feeding, diapering, and personal care
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with educational staff, therapists, and families to reinforce goals and routines
• Maintain dependable attendance and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
