Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Production Worker, contributing to the assembly and manufacturing of high-quality components in a fast-paced production environment. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of machinery and the quality of products.

Responsibilities

• Feed tubes into a machine that counts them and pack these tubes once they have been counted and beveled.
• Use a pneumatic air gun to assemble tubes into the outer shell of coolers.
• Operate a robotic welder, loading and unloading coolers weighing up to 50 pounds once all auxiliary pieces are welded.
• Perform testing and quality checks as the final step in the ERG cooler manufacturing process.
• Work with automated cells that perform assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production and general labor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Proficiency in documentation and material handling.
• Skill in machine operation, inspection, and loading.
• Attention to detail and ability to learn new skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful production environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, including mandatory Saturdays.
• Preferred experience with blueprints, trimming, and using calipers.
• Previous work experience in metal or plastic fabrication environments is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a metals manufacturing environment without climate control, where conditions may be warm in summer with a slight smell of oil and metal. Shifts are organized for optimal productivity, with potential for overtime. Employees enjoy union benefits and a structured work schedule with distinct shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Bartlett, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
