Senior Business Analyst Credit & Loss Analytics

ComResource is looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Credit & Loss Analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and assess new account acquisition strategies to drive growth
• Analyze past performance to refine strategies and create new credit limit policies
• Generate detailed reports on key credit risk metrics to guide decision-making
• Use knowledge of Home Improvement underwriting to analyze Home Improvement Credit Risk practices and make recommendations for underwriting enhancements
• Address ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders promptly and effectively
• Evaluate, research, and resolve various issues that arise
• Communicate clearly and build strong relationships with different departments
• Utilize SQL, SAS, Python, and R to create comprehensive reports
• Use data visualization tools to present findings to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure all credit policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Regularly review and update policies to reflect changes in regulations and market conditions
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues

Essentials:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of analytical experience focusing on credit cards or other types of unsecured consumer lending
• Presentation experience
• SQL proficiency
• Experience in the Home Improvement lending space
• Analytical background

Desired:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related quantitative field
• 6+ years of SAS/SQL, Python, or R proficiency
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other dashboarding tools
• Experience presenting to senior leaders
