We Are Hiring Custodial Services Workers in Essex, VT!

We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Custodial Services Workers to join our overnight cleaning team at a facility in Essex, Vermont.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals looking for consistent work and the potential for long-term employment.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, physically capable of performing custodial duties, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize workspaces, common areas, and other designated locations.
• Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned cleaning tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Must be comfortable working overnight hours.
• Ability to understand and follow basic safety instructions.
• Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive work attitude.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work well with others.
• Must successfully complete a 7-year background check.

Schedule & Compensation

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Shift: Overnight / 3rd Shift

Workdays: Monday through Friday

Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
