Production Assembler - Now Hiring

PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER 2nd shift

2nd Shift - 2:00PM - 10:30pm

Start 1 hour early or stay an hour late for OT

*1-2 Saturdays / month

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Responsible for assembling metal tool boxes (Will go to construction sites and on the back of pick up trucks)

- Will stand at the work station and use various hand and power tools to complete the assembly

- Push the boxes down the line to the next person

- Keep an organized work station

- Perform housekeeping and special clean up duties as assigned

ENVIRONMENT:

Surprisingly Clean environment and well lit. Not temperature controlled but their ventilation system keeps it comfortable. They have 6 production lines right now and they are adding a 7th in May. They have 4-5 people per line but they are short staffed, especially on 2nd shift right now. Culture is very important to them. The supervisor is very respectful and has an open door policy for everyone, even if they're our employee.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
