We're looking for skilled Commercial Carpenters with experience in steel stud framing, drywall, finish carpentry, remodeling, tenant improvements, and commercial construction projects. What You'll Do

• Steel stud framing and wood framing
• Hang, finish, and repair drywall
• Install doors, frames, hardware, windows, and trim
• Perform rough and finish carpentry
• Interior build-outs, remodels, and tenant improvements
• Install flooring and complete punch-list work
• Read and work from blueprints and construction drawings
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with demolition and site preparation
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
• Work alongside other trades to keep projects on schedule

Essential Skills

• At least 3+ years of carpentry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in commercial construction.
• At least 2 years of commercial construction experience
• Experience with steel stud framing and drywall installation
• Ability to read blueprints and layout work independently
• Experience with commercial remodels, renovations, or ground-up construction
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction methods
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Urbana, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
