Vehicle Title Clerk

The Vehicle Title Clerk manages title and registration activities for new and used vehicle sales, lien releases and transfers, out-of-state titles, and salvage and rebuilt titles. Reporting to the general manager, this role ensures accurate documentation, coordinates with the MVA, supports customers, and helps maintain efficient title processing.

No previous experience necessary, but previous licensed title clerks are urged to apply. Starting pay with no experience starts at $16.00, training is paid. This is a part time opportunity with other locations such as Temple Hills and Edgewater.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles for new and used vehicle sales.
• Verify title and transaction documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Record and process lien releases and transfers.
• Handle out-of-state, salvage, and rebuilt titles.
• Support vehicle registration activities.
• Coordinate title and registration matters with the MVA.
• Provide customer service and assistance throughout the title process.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with document verification.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer service skills.
