Key Responsibilities

Provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys handling medical malpractice and healthcare liability matters

Prepare, revise, and proofread pleadings, motions, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents

Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings

Coordinate and maintain case files, medical records, exhibits, and expert materials

Track litigation deadlines and court schedules

Prepare and file documents electronically in state and federal courts

Assist with discovery responses, document production, and trial preparation

Coordinate expert witness communications and records management

Enter attorney time and assist with billing and expense reporting

Communicate professionally with clients, healthcare providers, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors

Qualifications

3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience

Prior experience supporting medical malpractice, healthcare liability, insurance defense, or complex civil litigation practices strongly preferred

Experience with state and federal court e-filing procedures

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills
