Professional Surveyor

The Professional Surveyor will support residential and land development projects by preparing accurate surveys, plats, legal descriptions, maps, and surface models. Reporting to a licensed surveyor, this role will contribute to Boundary Surveys, Mortgage Location Surveys, and ALTA/NSPS Surveys while coordinating with clients, field crews and drafters and maintaining strong quality-control standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and prepare Residential Boundary Surveys, Mortgage Location Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Surveys, and Replats.
• Prepare boundary plats, legal descriptions, topographic maps, and surface models.
• Process survey data and conduct record research.
• Apply quality-control procedures to survey deliverables.
• Coordinate project requirements with clients and field crews.
• Support technical documentation and survey project completion.

Required Qualifications

• Ohio Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• Knowledge of boundary law and topographic mapping.
• Strong technical documentation, analytical thinking, and client communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate field crews.
• Ability to coordinate drafters

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
• Experience with Carlson Software and Microsoft Office.
