Technicians

Technicians assemble and test basic mechanical sub-assemblies through precision robotic, pneumatic, and mixed mechanical assemblies. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to follow engineering documentation while performing basic guided troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble basic mechanical sub-assemblies through precision assemblies.
• Build robotic, pneumatic, and mixed mechanical assemblies, including turrets, arms, wrists, robots, and rails.
• Perform gear assembly and assemble sealed mechanical components.
• Read and follow mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic prints, schematics, and engineering documentation.
• Operate hand and power tools for mechanical and pneumatic assembly.
• Conduct basic guided mechanical troubleshooting.
• Perform assembly and testing activities with close attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing mechanical assembly and testing, or related manufacturing assembly experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and components.
• Ability to read and comprehend engineering documentation, prints, and mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used for mechanical and pneumatic assembly.
• Ability to assemble gears and sealed mechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in mechanical assembly and testing.
• Experience as a Mechanical Repair Technician, Construction Technician, Automotive Technician, Pneumatic Technician, Maintenance Technician, machine builder, or line builder.
