Front of house restaurant manager evenings & weekends

Brooklyn South is seeking a dependable, hands-on Front of House Manager to lead our evening and weekend shifts. As an established, family-owned restaurant serving our community for 28 years, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in great service and supports their team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily front of house operations during evening and weekend shifts.
• Lead, train, and support servers, hosts, and other front of house staff.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate orders and timely service.
• Welcome guests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness, organization, and service standards.
• Monitor accurate order entry, payments, and cash handling.
• Complete closing duties and ensure the restaurant is ready for the next day.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management or strong shift leadership experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to stay calm, make decisions, and lead during busy shifts.
• A dependable work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
