Radiologic Technologist - Mobile Imaging | Varied Shifts

Provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other care settings. This full-time permanent opportunity offers varied schedules, shift differentials, and the opportunity to work independently while providing bedside diagnostic imaging. Four positions are currently available.

• 8-hour shifts; varied schedules available
• Monday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
• Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM–2:30 AM
• Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Saturday–Monday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
• Sunday–Tuesday: 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required for some schedules

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-ray examinations using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically accurate images as ordered by physicians.
• Transmit completed X-ray images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities.
• Scan examination-related paperwork and billing documents according to established procedures.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, facility staff, and clients.
• Maintain imaging equipment and the assigned vehicle.
• Follow operational procedures and maintain professional communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification required.
• Active North Carolina radiologic technologist license or eligible compact license.
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state and a good driving record.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or appropriate documentation must be submitted for an exemption.
• Ability to push or pull equipment weighing approximately 50–100 lbs, with assistance from ramps and pulleys when available.
• Must be comfortable traveling between healthcare facilities and performing mobile imaging services.
