Earthmoving & Site Grading Equipment Technician

Are you the operator who can hold grade when it counts?

Dozers and skid steers feel like home? Can you read grade stakes, keep elevations tight, and bring a site from raw ground to build-ready? If you’re comfortable with true site preparation and earthmoving—not just loading and stockpile work—this role is for you.

What you’ll do

• Operate skid steers and dozers for site prep, rough grading, and finish grading
• Follow grade stakes, confirm slopes, and maintain proper elevations throughout the job
• Work side-by-side with a construction crew, operating safely and efficiently
• Perform basic maintenance and daily checks to keep equipment reliable

What you need to succeed

• Experience on skid steers and dozers
• Basic to intermediate grading capability (expert-level not required)
• Dependability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in changing conditions
• Comfort with grade stakes, slopes, and elevations
• Commitment to safety and equipment care

Compensation

Pay starts at $18.00/HR and increases based on experience. Candidates with stronger equipment operating and grading experience will be considered for higher starting pay.
