Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at this facility in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement. Cornell experience required. Experience at a large academic setting (teaching hospital) required.

Special Requests: For units that auto offer, a maximum of 5 days RTO and no holidays will be approved automatically. RTO over 5 days and holiday requests will have to be reviewed by the facility, which will delay the process. Offers are valid for 48 business hours. If the offer is not confirmed within 48 hours, it will be rescinded and the opportunity will be offered to the next qualified clinician.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Floats to areas within acuity. Floats to units appropriate for skill set.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/18/2027, 02/15/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
