Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is required. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Required skills include medical intensive care unit, neuro intensive care unit, surgical intensive care unit, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, and post-cardiac-surgery care (not directly from the OR).

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. OSU requires all fingerprints to be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract for an OSU assignment. This is a client requirement, and timely completion is essential to maintaining the assignment and avoiding delays, pushes or cancellations. A WMC monthly permit costs $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days and provides parking in the Wexner Medical Center Garage. A WB annual permit costs $196.20/year, paid upfront, for West Campus surface parking and includes shuttle service. A CXS annual permit costs $393.96/year, paid upfront, for Buckeye CX and West Campus surface parking.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Cares for kidney, liver, lung, and heart transplant patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: Every other weekend minimum.

Floating Requirements: Floating to MICU, SICU, NCCU, CVICU, and Cardiology within the Ohio State system is required. The clinician may also float throughout the organization if there is no need in Critical Care.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
