Are you an experienced welder looking to work on critical marine and naval projects? We are seeking skilled Marine Welders to join a growing team supporting vessel repair, modernization, and fabrication projects. What You'll Do

• Perform structural and pipe welding on marine vessels and shipboard systems
• Weld to MIL-STD-278 standards using SMAW, FCAW, MIG, and other welding processes
• Complete stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and copper-nickel (CuNi) welding applications
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work packages
• Fabricate components by measuring, fitting, cutting, and assembling materials
• Grind, prep, and finish welds to meet inspection and quality standards
• Work in shipyard and shipboard environments, including confined spaces and elevated work areas
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and production schedules

Qualifications

• Previous marine, naval, shipyard, or heavy industrial welding experience
• Proficiency with SMAW (Stick), FCAW (Flux Core), and MIG welding processes
• Experience welding stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and/or CuNi piping systems
• Ability to read blueprints and welding drawings
• Strong fabrication and fitting skills
• Experience working in physically demanding industrial environments
• Ability to pass applicable weld tests

Preferred Experience

• Current welding certifications
• Navy, maritime, or ship repair experience
• Experience working to MIL-STD-278 requirements
• Shipyard safety training or related certifications

Work Environment

This position is based in a shipyard and shipboard environment. Employees may work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and should be comfortable working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and performing physically demanding tasks. Safety is a top priority, and all required PPE must be worn at all times.

This is a Contract position based out of Bremerton, WA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
