Maintenance Tech

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs on the floor, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC tasks. This role is ideal for an entry-level candidate eager to grow and develop within the business. The technician will work on various machinery in the facility, such as boilers, chillers, mixers, and conveyor systems. In cases where repairs cannot be completed in-house, outsourcing options are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, including boilers, chillers, mixers, and conveyor systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Collaborate with a small maintenance team to address facility needs.
• Outsource repairs when necessary.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Exposure to 480v 3 phase electrical systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and perform electrical maintenance.
• Experience with industrial equipment and maintenance repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in welding and using schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems and motors.
• Ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Unity, OH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
