Production Technician- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $18-$20/hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 am- 7:30 pm

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team temporarily. The position involves handling medication orders on the production floor, ensuring packages are accurately shipped to patients and providers. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. The successful candidate will consult with the Pharmacy Operations Manager or Pharmacist for any discrepancies or prescription clarification issues and will work across various production areas including manifesting, labeling boxes, and wrapping pallets.

Responsibilities:

• Process and ship all medication orders received on the production floor.
• Work in manifesting to ensure accurate package shipment to patients and providers.
• Consult with Pharmacy Operations Manager or Pharmacist for assistance on any discrepancy or prescription clarification issues.
• Work in all areas on the production floor, including manifesting, labeling boxes, and wrapping pallets.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to policies and protocols.
• Verify labels and quantity for bottles.
• Select appropriate packing materials and enclose specified items in orders.
• Affix packaging labels to orders.
• Lift up to 30-40 pounds when moving packages.

Essential Skills:

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in handling medications, packaging, and labeling boxes.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs at times.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of experience in a healthcare or production role.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a very clean production setting where employees will generally stand most of the day, unless assisting with data entry work on computers. The shift runs Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM with a 10-hour shift. This is a temporary position due to increased volume, with potential to be extended or transition into a permanent role, though this cannot be promised.

This is a Contract position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
