General Laborer - Now Hiring

The General Laborer supports a powder coating production line by loading parts and performing basic preparation tasks. This is a physically demanding position that involves frequent lifting, kneeling, bending, and reaching at a consistent, fast pace in a hot environment created by the cure oven. The role includes using simple hand and power tools such as a DA sander and cordless drill. • Load parts onto the powder coating line in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Perform physical tasks such as kneeling, bending, and reaching while maintaining a steady, fast work pace.
• Work in a hot environment due to the proximity of the cure oven and maintain productivity throughout the shift.
• Use a DA sander to prepare parts as needed for the powder coating process.
• Operate a cordless drill and other basic hand and power tools for assembly or preparation tasks.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to established production procedures and safety guidelines.
• Contribute to overall production flow by assisting with general labor tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, OH.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
