About the Role:
Community Medical Wellness PC  is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hand and Wrist Surgery to join our growing, fast-paced pain management practice.

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated physician who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our established team of medical professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical and non-surgical treatment of hand, wrist, and upper extremity conditions and injuries
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with fractures, tendon injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, and congenital conditions
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other medical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient medical records and documentation
• Stay current with advances in orthopedic surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices
• Participate in patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery expectations

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program
• Fellowship training in Hand & Wrist Surgery strongly preferred
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Valid New York State medical license or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience performing hand, wrist, and upper extremity surgical procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
