Shift & Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 Shifts per Week | 12 Hours per Shift | 36 Hours/Week
Additional Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays required. As-needed scheduling may apply. No on-call or floating requirements.

Pay Rate:
Local: $60–$62/hr
Traveler: $62–$64/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to respond effectively to critical and life-threatening situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions, injuries, and trauma.

• Rapidly assess patients and prioritize care based on the severity of their conditions.

• Recognize and respond promptly to critical and life-threatening emergencies.

• Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments.

• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Communicate effectively with patients and families while maintaining patient safety.

• Deliver professional nursing services in accordance with established clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Minimum 18 months of Emergency Department nursing experience.

• Recent ED experience within the past six months.

• Valid New Jersey RN license or multistate compact license.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

• Telemetry experience.

• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency.

• Four hours of continuing education (CEU) in stroke care.

• Strong clinical judgment, analytical, communication, and care-planning skills.
