Travel Per Diem Painter

We are seeking a skilled marine brush and roll painter with one to three years of experience in applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings. The role involves surface preparation and cleaning using power tools, ensuring quality coating thickness, and working in challenging environments.

• Apply coatings using brushes and rollers while maintaining the required thickness in mils.
• Prepare surfaces and clean using power tools.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, and around moving equipment.
• Utilize half-face and full-face respiratory equipment daily.
• Climb vertical ladders, bend, squat, and kneel as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Proficiency in applying coatings using brushes and rollers.
• Experience with power tools for surface preparation and cleaning.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and near moving equipment.
• Familiarity with respiratory equipment use.
• Physical capability to climb, bend, squat, and kneel.

• Experience in a shipyard or marine environment.
• Knowledge of spray gun operations.

This role involves working in a physically demanding environment, including confined spaces aboard naval ships and shop settings. You will be required to navigate ladders and stairs regularly.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

The pay range for this position is $21.36 - $27.31/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
