CNC Lathe Machinist - Haas & Okuma

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with hands-on setup and operating experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with Haas and Okuma CNC Lathes, blueprint reading, tooling changes, program adjustments, and precision inspection.

This position will primarily operate a Haas and Okuma CNC Lathe manufacturing custom fasteners, studs, threaded components, and precision machined parts for the oil & gas and industrial industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes
• Work with Haas and Okuma CNC controls
• Make tooling, offset, and program adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of CNC Lathe setup and operating experience
• Haas and Okuma CNC Lathe experience required
• Ability to read and make basic G-code/program adjustments
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with precision measuring tools
• CNC programming/editing experience preferred
• Mastercam experience is a plus
