Job Description
Career Strategies, Inc. is actively recruiting Apartment Maintenance Technicians, Floating Maintenance Technicians, and Maintenance Supervisors for multiple opportunities throughout Albuquerque, NM!
We are seeking dependable, skilled, and motivated maintenance professionals with experience in apartment maintenance, building repairs, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general property upkeep.

Available Opportunities
- Apartment Maintenance Technician: $19.00–$20.00/hour
- Floating Maintenance Technician: $22.00–$30.00/hour
- Maintenance Supervisor: $28.00–$30.00/hour
Compensation depends on the specific position, qualifications, and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests, general repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and mechanical issues.
- Perform apartment make-ready work, including painting, drywall repairs, fixture replacements, and general upkeep.
- Maintain safe, clean, and functional apartment communities.
- Communicate professionally with residents, onsite management, and maintenance team members.
- Document completed work orders and follow established safety procedures.
- For floating positions, provide maintenance support at multiple assigned communities.
- For supervisory positions, coordinate maintenance operations, prioritize work orders, and provide guidance to maintenance staff.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance or related property maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Previous maintenance leadership experience preferred for supervisory opportunities.
- EPA certification preferred; appropriate certification is required for refrigerant-handling duties.
- Reliable transportation for positions requiring travel between communities.
