Position Overview

We are hiring an articulated haul truck driver to transport material safely and efficiently from the mining area to our processing plant. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment in an active quarry environment and help maintain consistent daily production.

Experience operating an articulated haul truck is preferred, but not required. We are willing to consider dependable candidates with experience operating other types of heavy equipment who have good operating habits, a strong safety record, and the ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an articulated haul truck to transport and dump sand, gravel, and other quarry materials.
• Follow assigned haul routes and directions from management to maintain efficient material movement.
• Complete required pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and document machine condition.
• Report mechanical problems, equipment damage, unsafe conditions, and potential equipment failures immediately.
• Operate equipment responsibly to minimize unnecessary wear, damage, and downtime.
• Follow all site safety procedures, MSHA requirements, and operating instructions.
• Attend required safety meetings, training sessions, and shift briefings.
• Complete required production and equipment inspection records.
• Maintain reliable attendance and communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators.

Qualifications

• Previous articulated haul truck experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating other heavy equipment, such as front-end loaders, excavators, bulldozers, or off-road haul trucks, is a plus.
• Experience in a quarry, mine, construction, or similar industrial environment is beneficial.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and equipment care.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and equipment problems and report them promptly.
• Willingness to work outdoors in Texas heat, dust, and changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Some Saturdays, 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
