Location: Southfield, MI
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a dependable, organized Medical Office Assistant to help prepare patients for examinations, assist physicians, and keep appointments running smoothly. This role combines hands-on patient support with administrative tasks, including maintaining medical charts. Travel to other offices as needed may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring patients to the appropriate examination room.
• Review charts and make sure the physician has the information needed for each appointment.
• Take and record basic vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Help patients prepare for their examinations and assist physicians as needed.
• Serve as a chaperone during examinations when requested or required.
• Set up, clean, and stock examination rooms.
• Help keep appointments on schedule.
• Update and organize medical records while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Assist with typing, filing, emailing, and other office tasks.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and company procedures.
• Travel to other office locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of medical terminology, basic anatomy, medications, and laboratory values.
• Comfort using computers, standard office equipment, and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to travel between offices as required.
