Finishing Operator

Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $19.00/hr
Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Openwork is hiring Finishing Operators for a customer in Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity to join a leading label manufacturing company with steady hours, weekly pay, and long-term growth potential.

As a Finishing Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, finishing, packaging, and preparing printed labels for shipment while ensuring all quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Inspect labels for quality, accuracy, and customer specifications
• Operate finishing and rewinding equipment
• Package finished products for shipment
• Verify production orders and job specifications
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process
• Maintain accurate production documentation
• Move materials and finished products throughout the department
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Printing, converting, or finishing experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable transportation and good attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting throughout the shift
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and moving materials
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
