Rochester Home Management is looking for a highly skilled Lead Remodeling Carpenter to join our growing team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Lead Remodeling Carpenter, you'll be responsible for independently completing residential remodeling and repair projects throughout the Rochester area.

Projects include:

• Interior and exterior door and window installations
• Finish carpentry, trim, baseboards, crown molding, and custom details
• Decks, porches, railings, and exterior repairs
• Framing and residential layout modifications
• Kitchen and bathroom renovations
• Flooring, siding, and general remodeling
• Larger, multi-phase renovation projects including additions

Depending on the project, you may work independently or coordinate with other technicians.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional residential construction or remodeling experience
• Strong carpentry skills, particularly doors, windows, trim, framing, and exterior repairs
• Ability to independently plan and execute projects from start to finish
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read measurements, understand project scopes, and anticipate material needs
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude toward customers
• Ability to manage your time efficiently and take ownership of the finished product
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle requirements
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of residential construction

Additional skills that are a plus:

• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
• Tile installation and flooring
• Light plumbing and electrical experience within applicable licensing requirements
