Full-Time Catering Sales Manager
White House Event Center & The Estate — Anaheim & Orange, California
Pay: $25–$30 per hour, PLUS commissions per contract sold AND add-on upselling commissions PLUS performance bonuses
About the Position
The Catering Sales Manager will drive sales and coordinate memorable weddings, social events, corporate events, and private celebrations. Working with a cross-functional event team, this role will guide clients from initial consultation through event execution, leveraging industry leading software and advertising platforms to manage opportunities, proposals, contracts, relationships and generate new leads.
Responsibilities
- Generate and respond to leads for weddings, social events, corporate events, and private celebrations.
- Conduct client consultations to understand event needs and objectives.
- Develop compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize event agreements.
- Plan events in collaboration with the cross-functional event team.
- Coordinate menus and related catering details.
- Conduct occasional venue visits and site tours.
- Manage client relationships throughout the sales and event-planning process.
- Manager or coordinator assigned events (typically for customer's you've previously booked).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in catering sales and event management.
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and negotiation practices.
- Strong communication skills.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Thursday 1pm-9pm; with one assigned event date on either Friday, Saturday OR Sunday
