Human Resources Manager Manufacturing

Position Overview

Premier Placements  is recruiting an experienced Human Resources Manager for an established manufacturing organization in the Greater Milwaukee area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished HR professional who enjoys combining strategic leadership with hands-on HR management. The successful candidate will partner with senior leadership to support HR initiatives, employee development, organizational effectiveness, and a positive, high-performance workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, and performance management initiatives.
• Coach and support managers in employee relations, leadership development, and team performance.
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee HR compliance, policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize HR metrics and reporting to support informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR leadership or HR Business Partner responsibilities.
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leadership, develop talent, and implement effective HR initiatives.
• Experience with HRIS systems and HR reporting.
• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification preferred.
