Job Title: General Production Worker

Location: Salt Lake City

General Production Worker - Direct hire.

Pay: $21/hr for day shift and $22 for night shift

Plus a $1,500 SignOn Bonus!

Work in a clean, large manufacturing plant, safe environment. We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer / Production Operator to join production of extrusion plastic pipe department in Salt Lake City. This entry-level position involves utilizing standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications.

 

Shifts

The role involves working a 12-hour shift with alternating schedules of 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next.

·      Night Shift: 7pm - 7am; $22 per hour

·      Day shift, 7am - 7pm, $21/hour

Responsibilities 

• Ensure the final product is wrapped neatly around the reel while maintaining quality checks.
• Work in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working space.

Essential Skills

• Must able to communicate in English
• Manufacturing and production experience.
• Basic machine operating skills
• Mechanical assembly and aptitude.
• Able to work with hand tools and power tools.
• Minimum of year of recent manufacturing experience.
• Consistent work history within manufacturing/production.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to a busy manufacturing environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $45760.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, REPEAT Only Work 15 days a month!!! Every Other Weekend is a 3-DAY WEEKEND!!! Paid Bi-Weekly Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime) Shift Differential of $1.00 for night shift. SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00 Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance benefits starting on DAY ONE!
