Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations for Ryder/Bissell. Successful candidates will have experience operating walkie rider pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts to move, stage, load, and organize inventory efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, safe equipment handling, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate walkie rider pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.

• Move, stage, load, and unload pallets and products according to operational requirements.

• Pick, replenish, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.

• Follow warehouse procedures for product handling, storage, and inventory accuracy.

• Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

• Follow all company safety policies, including pedestrian awareness and proper equipment operation.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals.

• Perform additional general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.

• Prior experience operating a walkie rider and stand-up forklift preferred or required, depending on assignment.

• Ability to safely maneuver equipment in tight warehouse spaces and around other employees.

• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established performance expectations.
