Dimensional Inspector / Shipping Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Dimensional Inspector to join our manufacturing/fabrication operation. This position will be responsible for inspecting welded and fabricated products to ensure they meet print and customer specifications, while also assisting with shipping and receiving duties.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using precision measuring tools and be comfortable reading blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and weld symbols.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform dimensional inspections of welded and fabricated products
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and weld symbols
• Use measuring equipment such as: Tape measures, Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges Other precision measuring tools
• Verify parts meet required dimensions and specifications
• Identify and document dimensional discrepancies
• Verify incoming materials against paperwork and purchase orders
• Check part numbers, serial numbers, heat numbers, quantities, and material identification
• Verify outgoing materials and products before shipment
• Work closely with production and quality personnel to address discrepancies

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in dimensional inspection, quality inspection, machining, fabrication, welding, or a related manufacturing environment
• Ability to accurately use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/engineering drawings
• Ability to recognize and understand weld symbols
• Comfortable working around welded and fabricated metal products
• Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping
• Previous oil & gas or industrial manufacturing experience is a plus
• Shipping/receiving or material verification experience is a plus
