JOB DESCRIPTION

Flipside Innovation is excited to hire for a new and fast-growing government program. This team is redefining how mission-critical applications are developed, deployed, and operated in secure cloud environments.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power modern applications running on Amazon Web Services. You'll work closely with software engineers, cybersecurity professionals, architects, and government stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and reliable platforms that enable rapid delivery of mission capabilities.

YOU WILL:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational processes across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with developers to improve application reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Support containerized applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
• Work closely with engineers across team boundaries to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
• Grow as an engineer and help elevate those around you as you do.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience working with Linux-based systems.
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking, and system administration concepts.
• Position requires US Citizenship.
