ASC Equipment is looking for a high-performing Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll drive business-to-business sales with commercial Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractors across a defined U.S. territory. This is a performance-based, relationship-driven role that rewards self-starters with autonomy, competitive commission, and the opportunity to grow in a trusted and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead sales efforts from lead generation to closing across your assigned MEP territory
- Perform blueprint take-offs and prepare quotes in alignment with building code requirements
- Follow up on quotes and negotiate contracts with contractors and engineers
- Visit job sites, meet with clients, and collect market intel
- Collaborate closely with inside sales support to ensure smooth project execution
- Manage multiple open projects and prioritize efforts effectively
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ year of outside sales experience, ideally in MEP, industrial, or construction sectors
- Familiarity with MS Office and CRM tools
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence reviewing blueprints/specs
- Solid understanding of sales cycles, pipeline management, and contract negotiation
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with seismic design or vibration isolation is a plus
