Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend, with varying shifts

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for inpatient, outpatient, and critical care patients. The ideal candidate must have recent hands-on experience with Siemens MRI systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain examination processes.
• Perform IV starts and administer contrast agents as authorized and required.
• Provide imaging services for inpatient, outpatient, and critical care patients.
• Ensure patient safety, including MRI screening and implant compatibility checks.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow department protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification required; AMRIT certification may also be accepted.
• Recent hands-on experience with Siemens MRI systems is mandatory.
• Experience performing IV starts.
• Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and critical care patients.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures.
• Ability to work the scheduled shifts, including every fourth weekend.
