Speech Language Pathologist in Arvada, CO

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist serving a local PK-8th school near Arvada, CO. This full-time position consists of 37.5 hours per week, plus 2.5 hours of unpaid lunches, with the assignment covering a leave of absence (exact dates to be determined).

Your expertise will help foster communication and language development in students across a variety of grade levels in an onsite role. To be considered, candidates must have or be in the process of obtaining a CDE license—SLPAs will not be accepted for this assignment. Please note: your application must include a copy of your CDE license or COOL verification along with your resume for review.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Active or pending CDE license (required for submission)
• Completion of Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Minimum of one year of classroom-based SLP experience
• Background in school-based speech therapy services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse PK-8 student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students onsite
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district standards
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
• Participate fully in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team sessions
