Pay Range: [$20.00] /hr. on w2

Job Description: 

We are seeking a Lab Technician / Assistant I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, slide scanning systems, and data documentation and a proven ability to support experiments, uphold safety and quality standards, and maintain operational readiness of lab assets.

Responsibilities:

·       Support laboratory experiments and research activities.

·       Prepare lab materials and samples for testing.

·       Maintain and service diagnostic laboratory equipment and slide scanning systems.

·       Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.

·       Assist with data collection and documentation.

·       Monitor and maintain lab inventory and equipment status.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·       Experience with equipment maintenance and servicing.

·       Proficiency with hand tools for routine adjustments and repairs.

·       High attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

·       Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets for logs and reporting.

·       Technical aptitude with diagnostic or laboratory equipment.

·       Strong interpersonal skills with customer service experience.

·       Ability to manage simultaneous tasks and prioritize effectively.

·       2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

·       Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories.

·       Knowledge of industry best practices.
