Patient Services Representative (Temporary)

Pay: $18-$21/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Temporary (through March)

Position Overview

We are seeking customer-focused Patient Services Representatives to support a busy healthcare call center. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, assisting with appointment scheduling, answering questions, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule appointments across multiple office locations
• Route calls to the appropriate departments as needed
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide accurate information
• Address and document patient concerns
• Collect and verify patient information required for appointments
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume call environment
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Strong communication and phone skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
