Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab to support cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, experience with complex procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiovascular and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and follow infection control protocols.
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Common Procedures:

• Y-90 chemoembolization
• Cerebral angiograms with thrombectomy and interventions
• Subarachnoid hemorrhage interventions
• TIPS/TIPSS procedures
• G-tube placements
• Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
• Vascular access procedures
• Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography (PTC)
• Renal biopsies
• Liver biopsies

Equipment Used:

• GE Innova
• Philips Allura
• OEC 9900 C-arm
• Ultrasound systems

Work Environment:

• High-volume procedural setting, with approximately 25–30 cases per day.
• Must be comfortable assisting with a variety of complex vascular and interventional procedures.

Additional Information:

• Credentialing documents must be completed by Wednesday before a Monday start, as required.
