Senior Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Location: Boston Children's Hospital, Boston, MA
Department: Radiology - X-Ray (Perm)
Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $35.62 - $64.12 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced diagnostic X-ray procedures.
• Ensure patient safety while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
• Assess and support patients and families throughout the imaging process.
• Train and mentor technologists, students, residents, and fellows.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and departmental compliance standards.
• Participate in professional development, hospital initiatives, and team meetings.
  

Requirements

Education

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
  

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Diagnostic Radiology experience required
  

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Massachusetts Radiographer License required
• ARRT Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
