Machinist – Swiss Machines & 5-Axis CNC

Location: Middlefield, OH
Pay: $25.00–$38.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, OT Required

What You'll Do

• Operate advanced 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines and/or Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components.
• Perform tool changes, adjust machine offsets, and optimize feeds and speeds.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and help maintain consistent product quality.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe while performing routine machine maintenance.

What We're Looking For

• CNC machining experience, ideally with 5-axis milling and/or Swiss-style CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Experience with machine setups, tooling, offsets, and cutting parameters.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.

Pay & Benefits

• $25.00–$38.00 per hour, based on experience
• Additional $3.00 per hour shift premium
• Monday–Friday schedule — no regular weekend schedule
