This outpatient hospital-based cancer treatment center operates as part of a large health system, providing general medical oncology services within a structured clinical environment. The facility maintains established protocols and care coordination workflows to support quality oncology service delivery. On-site resources are in place to facilitate effective patient care throughout the covered assignment period.

The assignment area is a valley destination situated along Highway 101, offering clinicians access to a range of outdoor and recreational activities. Natural attractions include Lake Mendocino, Montgomery Woods State Reserve, and local vineyards, with options for hiking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The community also supports recreational sports leagues, senior programs, and local shopping, providing clinicians with varied options during time away from clinical duties.

A board-certified Medical Oncologist is required for locum tenens outpatient clinic coverage, providing day shift services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call obligations. The clinician will manage approximately 15 adult patients per day, conducting evaluations and coordinating general medical oncology treatment plans within the outpatient setting. Hospital privileges are required for this assignment, with a credentialing period of approximately 45 days. All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system.
