Specialist Vendor Liaison

Location: Hybrid – preferably local to Cedar Rapids, IA or Denver, CO
Pay Rate: $34/hour
Duration: Through June 1, 2027, with possible temp-to-hire conversion
Schedule: Hybrid

About the Role:

You will support the IT Vendor Management Group by overseeing strategic vendor relationships, ensuring contractual compliance, monitoring vendor performance, and partnering with IT leadership and Procurement to drive effective sourcing strategies and vendor outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage strategic vendor relationships and ensure vendors meet contractual obligations and performance expectations.
• Lead pricing, contract, and performance negotiations with technology vendors.
• Develop and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and vendor reporting.
• Partner with IT leadership, Procurement, and Legal on vendor selection, RFPs, and contract execution.
• Review vendor performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee invoice reconciliation, credits, penalties, and vendor-related budget reporting.
• Develop vendor management processes, best practices, and sourcing strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in vendor management or a similar role.
• Strong experience with vendor relationships, contract management, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of technology labor pricing, sourcing models, and staff augmentation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior leadership and drive results across cross-functional teams.
