Job Description

We are seeking a Lab Technician / Assistant I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory equipment maintenance, slide scanning systems, and data documentation and a proven ability to support experiments, uphold safety and quality standards, and maintain operational readiness of lab assets.

Responsibilities:

• Support laboratory experiments and research activities.
• Prepare lab materials and samples for testing.
• Maintain and service diagnostic laboratory equipment and slide scanning systems.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
• Assist with data collection and documentation.
• Monitor and maintain lab inventory and equipment status.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Proficiency with hand tools for routine adjustments and repairs.
• High attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets for logs and reporting.
• Technical aptitude with diagnostic or laboratory equipment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customer service experience.
• Ability to manage simultaneous tasks and prioritize effectively.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in research or diagnostic laboratories.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.
