Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Mobile Radiologic Technologist to provide portable X-ray and, when required, EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other care facilities. The ideal candidate should have the required ARRT certification, a valid California state license, and a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-rays using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment.
• Transport and set up portable X-ray equipment at healthcare facilities.
• Obtain high-quality, clinically diagnostic images and transmit them to radiologists for interpretation.
• Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Scan and submit examination-related paperwork and billing documents according to established procedures.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, healthcare staff, and clients.
• Maintain the vehicle and radiographic equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain professional communication with patients and healthcare personnel.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Valid California state license is required. Limited licenses are not accepted.
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state, maintained in good standing.
• Ability to operate portable X-ray equipment and produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Ability to travel to multiple healthcare facilities and work independently.
• Must meet applicable health and operational requirements.
• COVID-19 vaccination, including the required booster, is mandatory under the stated policy. Exemptions require appropriate supporting documentation.

Physical Requirements

This position involves transporting and maneuvering portable X-ray equipment. Technologists may need to push or pull equipment requiring approximately 50–100 pounds of force, potentially 16–24 times per day. Vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce the effort required.
