Key Qualifications:

• Current Florida Speech Language Pathologist License (SLP required)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings strongly preferred

• Comfort providing individualized therapy to students with moderate-to-severe needs
• Willingness to collaborate with existing staff and participate in multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services for a caseload of approximately 24 students across grades 4–22, plus consult services for about 12 additional students
• Work within a standard classroom therapy space designed for student support
• Adapt scheduling to meet a 17.5-hour work week spread over 2.5 to 5 days, with flexibility (for example, three 6-hour days, four 4-hour days, or five 3.5-hour days)
• Consult with aides, teachers, and the on-site Behavior Specialist to cultivate optimal learning environments
• Take part in student progress monitoring and collaborate closely with school staff, though you will not serve as a case manager
