Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver (Non-CDL 16ft Box Truck)

Steinberger Floors is hiring a dependable, safety-conscious Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver. 

This hybrid position splits time between staging and handling inventory in our facility and delivering goods directly to local clients and jobsites.

You will operate our company-provided 16-foot Isuzu non-CDL box truck, navigating both local highways and urban city streets. When not on the road, you will work alongside our warehouse team to pick orders, load freight, and keep inventory organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation & Route Deliveries:
  • Safely operate a 16ft Isuzu box truck on designated daily delivery routes, including dense urban traffic, tight alleys, and loading docks.
  • Offload products at customer sites safely using hand trucks, dollies, lift gates, or pallet jacks.
  • Collect delivery signatures, handle bills of lading (BOLs), and communicate updates with management.
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Pull, pack, label, and stage outgoing orders accurately based on daily delivery schedules.
  • Safely load and secure cargo in the box truck using straps, blankets, and load bars to prevent in-transit shifting or damage.
  • Unload incoming supplier shipments, verify packing lists, and restock warehouse shelving.
  • Maintain clean, hazard-free warehouse aisles, packing zones, and loading bays.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driving Credentials & Experience:
  • Valid standard driver’s license (No CDL required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of documented experience driving commercial box trucks, large cargo vans, or comparable commercial vehicles.
  • Proven confidence maneuvering a 16ft box truck through busy city traffic, tight corners, loading bays, and street parking.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations or DUIs within the past 3 years.
  • Must meet commercial vehicle insurance eligibility requirements.
• Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise weighing up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to climb in and out of a truck cab and cargo bed, bend, crouch, and stand for extended periods.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
