Quality Lab Technician (Manufacturing)

3-2-3 rotating shift
4:30am to 4:30pm - NO nights

Job Description:
Sets up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instrumentation such as automated titrators, gas chromatograph, spectrophotometer, centrifuge, agitators, chemical balance, pH meters, and other equipment
Test raw material, in-process, and final products for conformity to specifications per standard procedures
Accurately record and maintain test results for all required analyses in written or database formats
Calibrate laboratory instruments and maintain quality system records
Write test reports describing procedures and results as needed
Clean, maintain and troubleshoot analytical and laboratory equipment as needed
Collect samples from the production process
Maintain lab supplies
Prepare, package, and ship laboratory samples
Perform routine/non-routine housekeeping jobs as required to keep area clean and safe
Prepare standards and reagents when needed
Prepare Shipping Packages when needed
Prepare labels for Totes and Drums when needed
Change out pressurized gas cylinders as needed for GC and other Lab analysis
