Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview

This role involves working in the Cath Lab with a daily caseload of approximately 15 patients. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a cath lab setting, specifically as an X-ray Technician. First-time applicants are not accepted. Weekend duties include on-call responsibilities every third weekend, with a 30-minute response time required. Sleep rooms are available on-site for convenience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional angiograms
• Conduct right and left heart catheterizations
• Assist with ASD and PFO closures
• Operate equipment such as Impella, EKOS, rota-pro, and athrectomy devices
• Scrub stenting and drive the table for procedures
• Execute coronary and peripheral angiograms

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a cath lab as an X-ray Tech
• Experience with C-Arm operations
• Scrub experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and ARRT Advanced Certification preferred

Equipment and Systems

Experience with the following is required:

• Client-specific systems and Phillips, Siemens, MedRad
• Excellian, Client Mac Lab, Q-Site, Synapse

Additional Information

• Floating to sister facilities may be required
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Local candidates within a 100-mile radius are not accepted
• Pending state licenses are accepted
• Requested time off ideally should not exceed 5 days
• Client reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty
